Google Analytics team released an API in beta and is now publicly available for all Analytics users according to Google Analytics blog. This is good news for the developers who want to integrate Analytics data in their applications or to release apps for general public.
Along with the API, analytics team showed some applications as examples that integrated the API or built standalone applications using the API. One of these applications is Polaris, it is an Adibe AIR application that allows you to access Google Analytics from your desktop. Polaris is from the same developer who developed Google Analytics AIR application before.
Polaris dashboard gives an overview of the stats, you can change to different views using the navigation menu. Polaris is free for one website profile, but if you want to track more than one website you need to pony up $15/year which is not bad for an useful app like this. Since it is based on Aboe AIR it works with Windows, Linux and Mac.

This is one of the best adobe air application I have come across. Now I use two adobe air application excessively “tweetdeck” and “Polaris”
It helped me to easily keep track of popular keywords from my blog and I can use them as anchor text to increase ranking.
I will highly recommend this application for all the Google analytic user.
