Microsoft Bing search engine got a lot of buzz, and as i mentioned in my Bing review post it is better than Live search, in fact it looks like a tweaked version of Live search. Anyway like Google and Yahoo Bing also allows you to do special searches for quickly finding things.
Weather: Search for weather of any city by adding “weather†and the name of the city name, it will show you weather for today and next four days.
Time: To check the time of any city around the world, just type time and name of the city.
Scorecard: Type cricket scores and you will get the current match scores immediately.
Financial Quotes: Type in a Symbol (ticker) of a company to see the financial market data of the company along with a chart. You can also enter multiple quotes followed by quote to get quotes for multiple ticker symbols.
Unit Conversions: Convert from one unit to other using Bing, for example to convert from 5 miles to kilometers you could use 5 miles in kilometers.
Encyclopedia: Find answers, facts, geographical locations and many other things.
Area Codes: Input an area code (US cities only) followed by area code in to the search box (example: 650 area code) to see which geographical area has this code.
Currency Conversion: You can use Bing to do quick currency conversion. For example see the conversion rate from Euro to Indian Rupees.
Movies: (US cities only) Enter movies and zip code to see the list of movies playing near the area, it will display list of movies and rating but not the timing. Google displays timing also.
Local Search: (US cities only) You can search for food, restaurants etc using the local search.
Site search: add site: and the url of the site to search a specific site. For example search this blog add site:teknobites.com to the search box.
Definitions: To find definitions for words enter define or definition and the word.
Flight Status: See the status of the flight in question with Bing. Enter flight status and the name of the airline or flight number.
Calculations: Get answers to arithmetic problems. “Find basic mathematical operators, exponents, roots, factorials, modulo, percentages, logarithms, trigonometry functions, and mathematical constants. In the search box, type the equation that you want to solve or the constant that you want to find the value ofâ€
Track Packages: Find the status of packages you shipped. Just type name of the shipping company and the tracking number for the package you want to track.
These are long list of specialized searches for doing things quickly instead of searching here and there. Do you know any other specialized searches of Bing?.

Define a word by typing “define (x word)” works too.
