Adobe has added new features to its online photo editing site photoshop.com. Now users of the photoshop.com can upload videos and create Group Albums. The video uploads feature is a welcome thing but Adobe is late on the game.
The video uploads are limited to 200MB via web and up to 2GB using a Adobe AIR app. Although the size limit is quite large, free Photoshop.com account comes with 2GB of free storage so keep that in mind while uploading large videos. The Adobe AIR app can be installed by following the link “Uploading made easy†link in the news section under your account dashboard. Once you install the application you can upload large video files.
Currently it supports several video formats including AVI, Windows Media, Quick Time and MPEG. The uploaded videos are converted to Flash video. There is no way to edit the uploaded videos currently.
Another feature that is added to Photoshop.com is the ability to create Group Albums, these allows you and your friends collaborate on photos. After setting up the Group Album invite your friends, all of you can add, edit, and share the photos in the album.
