Google Chrome is released exactly a year ago, i installed on the same day and tested and i really liked the browser. Although it has basic features it is speedy, reliable browser. A year is over but Google Chrome didn’t get much interest from the masses, Google is actively promoting the browser but still it only got 2.8% browser market share according to Net Applications stats for August 2009.
Sony and Google have reached a deal to bundle Google Chrome browser with Sony computers, these kind of deals will surely improve Google Chrome market share, if Google can convince other PC makers like Dell and HP the browser will reach mainstream audience in the near future.
Google Chrome still feels like work in progress, there is no official support for extensions, although it is possible to add extensions manually using developer builds. Also Mac and Linux stable versions are yet to be released.
While the global stats standout at 2.8% browser market share for Google Chrome, early adopters are sure trying it out. I looked at my blog readers browser versions, 7.37% of our readers are using Google Chrome which is at 3rd position after Firefox and IE. I myself use both Google Chrome and Firefox. Are you using Google Chrome?

I am not using Chrome much. However, it had got a nice place in the Browser War.
