Google is rebranding Android Market as Google Play. Google Play will bring all Google’s entertainment products under one roof. Google Music, Google Movies, Android Market, Google eBook Store are now called Google Play combined, the move is to unify all the services into one to make it easy for users to access content from anywhere.
Google Play is entirely cloud based that means you don’t have to worry about syncing them as they are readily available through web, android phone or tablet. Starting today Android Market, Google Music, and ebook store will come under Google Play and accordingly the Android Market app on your Android device will be updated to Google Play store app, just wait for few days if it is not updated for your device.

In the new Google Play store Google Music is referred as Google Play Music, Google Movies is referred as Google Play Movies, and eBook store is referred as Google Play Books. The content you already purchased including apps, music, books will continue to be available through Google Play Store.
