Google officially launched it’s cloud storage service Google Drive, along with the Drive Google also increased storage of Gmail. Earlier Gmail free storage is at 7.5GB and now that is increased to 10GB. Gmail offered 1Gb of free storage when launched, from then slowly increased the free storage to 7.5GB.
The free Gmail storage will increase in the next 24 hours and will hit the 10Gb limit announced today, login to Gmail to check the bump in free storage. This is quite useful for the users who are already using more than 90% of their Gmail storage. Gmail also offers paid storage plans. With the launch of Google Drive, if you buy any paid plan for Drive your Gmail storage will also be bumped to 25GB.
