Google is working hard to tightly integrate Google+ in other Google products ever since it launched, Google wants everyone of us to be hooked to Google+. Google announced a Gmail update today that allows users to have a Google+ experience right in their email inbox.
The new update to Gmail allows users to interact with Google+ notifications from their email inbox, users can view, comment and +1 posts from inside their inbox. The replies you add to the Google+ will appear instantly in Google+ stream and responses from others will also appear instantly on Gmail.
Not only from Gmail but you can reply to notifications from your mobile device (including Android, iOS and Blackberry) or from email clients like Outlook or Thunderbird.
Just open the notification email about the post you’re interested in, and look for the new prompt, “Reply to this email.” Tap reply, send your comment, and we’ll automatically add it to the ongoing Google+ conversation. Even if you don’t use Gmail, you can still reply-by-email from many different services.
The update will rollout to users over the next week. The update allows heavy users of Gmail to keep using Google+ even if they don’t open Google+ quite often. You can change the notification settings from Google+ settings page.
