The call mode is for users who talk a lot on their devices. It is the best mode for people who want to maximize the battery life while talking on the phone. The standby mode gives out the best battery life while the phone is on standby. It basically takes the phone into sleep mode for maximum battery saving. Lastly, there is the custom mode which is for advanced users who want to set their own parameters.

i’ve tried a lot of apps like zdbox and battery savers but none of them worked well,i didnt see any difference.So i will try this app lets see what its upto.
How effective?
I’ve had significant battery improvement on my xperia s. believe it or not it ran for 3 whole days. not such a big improvement on nexus. Got some 10 hours more battery juice. Different users get different results.
