Alcatel is not a very popular brand in India for mobile phones, but it makes some budget and mid range phones. Alcatel announced a high end Android smartphone at MWC 2013, dubbed as Alcatel One Touch Idol X, it comes with Android 4.2, 5-inch display.
One touch Idol X joins the One Touch series of smartphones from Alcatel including Onetouch Idol and One Touch Idol Ultra. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 16GB of internal storage. It comes with a 5-inch 1080p display (edge to edge) screen. It is also one of the thinnest phones around with just 7.1 mm thickness. It comes with either 13 megapixel rear camera or 8 megapixel depending on the market, also the phone is available as a single SIM or dual-SIM variant depending on the market.
