After the successful launch of Sony Xperia Z, Sony announced two new handsets in the mid-range running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, the two handsets will go on sale in the second quarter of this year. These phones will come in Red Black and White.
Sony Xperia SP Features & Specs
Xperia SP is a 4.6-inch Android smartphone with TFT screen, 720p HD Reality Display. It is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It has an internal memory of 8GB expandable to 32GB using a microSD card. Other specifications of the phone include an 8MP rear camera and a front VGA camera. It comes with a 2370mAh battery which according to Sony will upto 10 hours of talk time and 635 hours of standby time. Connectivity options include 3G, micro USB, 4G LTE, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Sony Xperia L Features & Specs
Sony Xperia L is a low end smartphone compared to the Xperia SP, it is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It has 4.3 display with TFT screen with 854×480 pixels resolution. Other specifications include an 8MP rear camera and a front VGA camera. Like the Xperia SP it also has 8GB of internal storage expandable to 32GB with a micro SD card and supports NFC. It comes with a 1750mAh battery which gives 8 hours and 30 minutes of talk time and 498 hours of standby time.
