Acer announced the much rumored Iconia B1-A71 tablet at CES 2013 following multiple leaks recently. The tablet has the same specs as the leaks suggested, it is a 7-inch tablet with Android Jelly Bean under the hood.
Iconia B1-A71 is a budget Android tablet and will be launched in Asia and South America initially with a price tag of less than $150 in some markets. The pricing of the tablet varies from market to market ranging from $129 to $149 in some markets, and in some markets the tablet will retail at $99, Acer didn’t confirm the markets that get the $99 price tag though.
The tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz Mediatek dual-core processor (MTK 8317T). It comes with a 7-inch diagonal WSVGA capacitive multitouch screen with 1024X600 pixel resolution. It has an internal storage of 8GB, expandable with a microSD card. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, micro-USB . Other specifications include 0.3MP front facing camera, 2710mAh battery and Android Jelly Bean OS.
