Adobe released Photoshop touch tool for iPad 2 today, the app is available on Android for quite some time now. You can get the application from the Appstore by paying $9.99 now, this application is part of the Adobe Touch apps family and would be included when the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription service starts in the first half of this year.
Adobe Photoshop Touch brings some of the familiar tools available in the desktop version to the iPad, as well as some new features are added specifically for tablets. The iPad app supports features like layers, effects, filters, clone stamp, blur, and Photoshop compatible file formats.
Images can be sourced from multiple sources like Google Image search, Facebook or using a live feed from the tablet’s camera. Layers will allow you to combine various images add effects as you would do in the desktop app. Interactive tutorials also included to give step by step by guide for learning.
Adobe Photoshop touch application is part of the Adobe touch apps family, the touch family of apps include Adobe Collage, Adobe Debut, Adobe Ideas (already released), Adobe Kuler, Adobe Photoshop Touch (released today), Adobe Proto. The rest of the applications will be released later this year.
