Asus has launched the Zenfone 3S Max today at an event. The main USP of the Zenfone 3S Max (ZC521TL) is its massive battery, this phone houses a 5,000mAh battery under the hood which will give 2 days of battery life. This is an upgraded version of Zenfine 3 Max launched sometine back in two variants 5.2 inch and 5.5 inch. The specifications of the device are already known and today Asus announced the price and the availability fo the device.
The Zenfone 3S Max sports metal based unibody design, a fingerprint scanner is embedded in the home button conveniently. On the front it sports a 5.2 inch display with IPS panel at HD resolution. The fingerprint sensor supports up to five fingers and can be unlocked in 0.5 sec according to Asus. It is powered by a MediaTek 64bit 1.5GHz Octa-core processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. The internal storage is pegged at 32GB and you can expand it upto 2TB using an expternal SD card Asus claims, Don’t ask us where to get these memory cards we have no clue:).
In the camera department it comes with a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, and dual LED real-tone flash. The dualLED flash will give real skin tone color in the dark with out making it to look like more white. The rear camera also supports 12 modes for different occassions including a super resolution mode at 52MP resolution for taking portraits. It has an 8MP front camera with a wide angle lens for selfies and groupies along with a beautification mode.
As said the phone comes with a 5000mAh battery that gives atleast 3 days of charge on mixed usage. The phone comes with a Mobile manager app form which you can select five battery modes for saving battery life.
Connectivity options include Bluetoth, Wifi, GPS, 4G, VoLTE and others. Zenfone 3S Max runs on Android 7.0 Nougat along with Zen UI 3.0 loaded on top. Other features include a 5 Magnet Speaker for increased clarity, low noise while listening to music.
Zenfone 3S Max is priced at Rs 14,999 for the Indian market and it will be available through major online retailers starting today.
