Bharti Airtel has launched 4G services in Bangalore yesterday, last month Bharti launched 4G services in Kolkata. Bharti Airtel is the first carrier to launch 4G services in India.
4G delivers wireless broadband speed at 100mbps where as 3G has a maximum speed of 21mbps. Airtel introduced plans and pricing for the 4g services in Bangalore. The pricing starts at Rs. 999 for 6GB of free data usage and up to Rs. 2999 for 30GB of free data usage. It is also offering a cash back scheme along with these data plans
4G LTE smartphones are not available in India, so Airtel is also providing 4G dongles for subscribers for accessing 4G in their devices. CPE device is useful for getting Wi-Fi inside while multi mode dongles are offered to users who want mobility.
Airtel will offer unlimited movie titles for a subscription of Rs. 149 per month, for the first month 10 movie titles are offered free for the customers though.
Airtel has acquired 4G licenses in four circles including Kolkata, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Punjab. It already launched services in Kolkata and Bangalore, it may introduce 4G in Pune and Chandigarh soon.
