BlackBerry has launched the BlackBerry Z30 smartphone in India today. BB Z30 is the first phablet from BlackBerry, this phablet originally announced few weeks back. BlackBerry has priced it at ?39,990, which is acceptable if you see how BB priced the Z10 when it launched. Last month Z10 got a price cut to make way for this Z30.
BB Z30 features a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, that comes to 294ppi. It is powered by a 1.74GHz dual-core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Processor coupled with Adreno 320 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It also includes a micro SD card slot for memory expansion upto 64GB.
Z30 runs on BlackBerry OS 10.2 which is launching this week for other handsets. It will also come with the updated BBM app which allows users to reply messages without leaving the app they are in. It carries an 8 megapixel camera at the rear and a 2 megapixel at the front. It packs a 2880mAh battery under the hood. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
Availability & Pricing: It will be available from next week onwards in India. It is priced at ?39990 officially.
