BLU is a smartphone maker not known in this part of the world, but it offers affordable handsets. Blu has unveiled a new smartphone called Blu Life Pure that comes with a 5-inch 1080p screen and is priced at $349. The design of the phone looks similar to the iPhone 5 or Gionee Elife E6.
Blu Life Pure features a 5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with One Glass Solution with pixel density of 441ppi. The phone looks beautiful with thin bezels and it measures 7.7 mm in thickness. It is powered by the 1.5GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU. On the memory front it comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of Internal storage. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system along with some software customizations from Blu.
Blu Life Pure comes with a 13MP rear camera with BSI sensor, Auto focus, LED flash and a front camera with 5MP sensor. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB. It packs a 2000mAh battery under the hood.
The phone is priced at $349 for unlocked version and will launch in the near future. It looks like a rebranded version of the Gionee Elife E6 launched some time back.
