BSNL has launched a new Android phablet in the Indian market. BSNL in partnership with Champion launched the Champion DM6513 3G phablet at Rs 6,999. The phablet comes with a 6.5-inch display, which is higher than Galaxy Note 3 display size and right below the 7-inch tablets.
Champion DM6513 runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The phablet will offer best of phones and tablets at an affordable price point. The phablet comes with a 6.5-inch capacitive touch screen and is powered by a dual-core processor. The display resolution and the processor clock speed is not available at this moment. But looking at the price point don’t expect anything higher than 1.2GHz clock speed.
Champion DM6513 comes with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G etc, other specifications include G-Sensor, FM Radio and storage upto 32GB using a micro SD card. It packs a 3500mAh battery under the hood for providing juice, the battery is rated to deliver 4 hours of talk time, that is very less for a phablet. But that gigantic screen might be sucking all the power it can get, the browsing time might be better in this tablet otherwise it is doomed.
