BSNL along with Pantel launched 3 tablets recently for Indian consumers. The tablets vary in features, the cheapest tablet retails for Rs. 3250/- and the expensive one retails at Rs. 13500/-.
The cheapest one T-Pad IS701R is priced to compete with the Aakash tablet which saw lot of problems recently with manufacturer and IIT Jodhpur.
These tablets got huge response from consumers, they got over one lakh pre orders for the tablets from consumers over phone and online. Sahara India also ordered 2 lakh tablets from Pantel according to its MD Virendra Singh.
The deliveries of the tablets for pre orders will start after March 5, and these tablets will also be available in retail outlets and BSNL outlets.
