For longtime Flickr search hasn’t changed much, but finally today they released a revamped search pages for Flickr. Earlier the search used to return results in a single column with large thumbnails but now it has changed, now it includes small, medium and detail view.
Now the images in the search results (example: sunset) are displaying a tiny info icon “iâ€, clicking on this will provide some useful information about the photo in question like no of views, faves, comments, tags, geo info, date etc. You can sort the images by relevancy, recent and most interesting as before. The search results pages now includes related groups, photographers, tag clusters and places on the right hand side. Earlier tag clusters used to be on the top of the pages.
Groups and people search also changed significantly, groups search results can be sorted according to relevancy, activity, size and age.
The drop down search menu allows you to search everyone’s uploads or your own photostream.
