Flickroom is an Adobe AIR application for Flickr that comes with a lot of features and a cool interface that will enhance your flickr experience.
Flickroom is packed with all the features you ever need, you can view your photostream, profile, sets, contacts and much more. The app is designed in dark colors so that if you want to browse some photos in black you don’t have to go to third party sites. Along with the photos it pulls all the information related to them like description, comments, tags and the EXIF data associated with those photos.
You can comment, favorite a photo, add notes, save to the desktop or just send a tweet about the photo to twitter from the photo page. You can also access your contacts and groups with Flickroom.
Other features include tracking recent activity of your photos, your contacts recent uploads, search Flickr users and search Flickr photos. The search is not as powerful as Flickr, there is no way to search for CC licensed photos.
It integrated twitter, you can just tweet about the photo from the app itself, you can even shorten the URL with tinyurl, no other options available right now.
Flickroom is a nice app for browsing Flickr from the desktop, if you are a Flickr user check out the app it is quite useful. One annoying thing about this app is that every time you logout and login you have to authenticate again to Flickr, why not save the preference and just ask to login instead of authenticating to Flickr each time.

I tried the application and found it really cool. Also, you have written a nice review. However, I am not very clear about the point about ‘Logout’ that you have quoted. It seems Flickroom does save authentication credentails. If you just close the application (without logging out), and restart, it does not ask for re-authentication. However, if you logout, it does – and I think that is expected. May be the app developer should have given an Alert popup when user clicks on Logout.
