Google has updated its Gmail application for Android, the updated version 4.7 brings some useful features, the list includes a vacation responder, attachment support and others. Google says in its post that in time for holidays the updated Gmail app brings vacation responder, that allows users to set auto responder message.
If you are going for a vacation this holidays you will be glad to know you can now set an auto responder message through your Android device. You can select a start date, an end date and a message.
Another feature is the support for attachments, now Gmail for Android supports all types of documents, ZIP files and PDFs along with photos and videos. If you are on Android 4.4 KitKat running device then you can also print your email messages as hard copies with ease. The update also includes several fixes for the enhanced performance of the app according to Google, particularly on devices with low memory as part of the Project Svelte that is part of the Android 4.4 KitKat.
