Google Nexus 7 32GB version is now available from the Play Store for the Indian buyers. Earlier only 16GB model is available from the store, Google and Asus promised 32GB model with 3G also for the Indian market, keeping that word they have released the 32GB Wi-Fi only model but no sight of the 3G model so far. 3G model might come at a later date if they actually plan to launch it. The tablet is priced at Rs. 18,999 inline with the 16GB model released earlier, the 16GB model is priced at Rs. 15,999. 32GB Nexus 7 launched is already temporarily out of stock, you can check back if you are interested in the tablet.
Nexus 7 is made by Asus for Google, originally launched in June 2012 this tablet is available as 8GB model for a price of $199 and later the model was replaced with 16GB model with the same price tag. Nexus 7 comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad-Core Processor. The tablet has 198.5 x 120 x 10.45mm dimensions and weighs 340gms. It is a Wi-Fi only tablet, other connectivity options include Bluetooth, NFC (Android Beam) micro USB.
It comes with 7-inch Back-lit IPS display at 1280 x 800 pixels resolution (216ppi). The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection for scratch resistance.
This doesn’t have a rear snapper but there is a 1.2MP camera on the front. It has 32GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM and there is no micro SD slot on the tablet. Other goodies in the tablet include Microphone, Accelerometer, GPS, Magnetometer, Gyroscope. It comes with a 4325mAh to power up the device, it gives 8 hours of active use according to Google.
