You can subscribe to news sites, magazines, newspapers, blogs and the articles are specially formatted for your smartphone tablet. You can view images, video and everything inline within the app. If you can’t read that long review, you can save it to read later.
The app will compete with the popular Flipboard app. The Newsstand app also integrates with the News Paper pay walls giving the news papers a venue to sell subscriptions. Earlier app Currents didn’t support the subscriptions.
If you are a Currents user your subscriptions will be migrated to the Newsstand app. If you are not then you can download the app directly from the Google Play Store.
