We have seen many cheap and budget Android tablet launches in India recent times including BSNL Pantel tablets, Intex tablet and Zync Z990 tablet. Now HCL has also launched two budget tablets in India, HCL ME U1 and HCl MyEdu starting from Rs. 7,999.
The ME U1 runs on 1GHz processor and comes preloaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It has a 7 ich capacitive display with 800 x 480 resolution. It comes with 4GB of internal storage and can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card, it also packs 512 MB of RAm, a front facing camera, full USB port and mini USB port. It can be connected to 3G using a USB modem. This tablet is priced at Rs. 7,999.
The other tablet MyEdu is offered in two flavors MyEdu Tab K12 and MyEdu Tab HE, these two tabs are targeted towards students. The specs for the tablets are identical to ME U1, but these two tablets offer educational content that will come packed with the tablet.
MyEdu Tab K12 is priced at Rs. 11,499 and will cater to school students, while MyEdu Tab HE is priced at Rs. 9,999 will cater to the college students. The K12 tab will pack educational content along with free access to NCERT books in a memory card.
HCL will offer apps through it’s own appstore, it has around 10,000 apps so far, users can also access Google play store for downloading apps.

Hey I cant comment on that as i didn’t use any of these tablets, but specs wise they both (HCL U1 and Micromax) are same except processor.

Processor are both at 1.2Ghz. No different in Speed.
