HTC unveiled HTC One with solid specifications along with HTC Sense 5 that includes some new features. As usual HTC emphasized Camera and Sound this time around along with a new feature called HTC BlinkFeed.
HTC BlinkFeed is a content stream at its core, HTC implemented it to bring all the content to the home screen making easy to consume content as well accessibility. FlipBoard like tiled interface adds to the home screen appeal. BlinkFeed bring everything from your social channel updates to news, photos, other updates with images as a live stream on your home screen. It aggregates all the content you are interested or selected to the home screen, so you won’t have to open multiple applications to see what is happening.
HTC has partnered with content producers globally for BlinkFeed updates, the content partners range from news outlets to popular blogs. According to HTC 1400 global and local partners contribute more than 10000 news feeds per day. Users have choice to select the content they are interested in, or select pre classified categories. If you are not happy with the experience you can always disable the BlinkFeed feature and go back to the plain old Android home screens with out an issue.
