HTC has launched another smartphone in the Indian market, named HTC Desire XDS. HTC has silently launched this phone, it appears to be the dual-sim version of the HTC Desire X Android smartphone. It is currently available online from Snapdeal.com and Saholic.com, Snadeal is selling it for RS. 15999 and Saholic for 16089.
HTC Desire XDS is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor with 768MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.0 ICS, this is surprising because the latest Android devices are using Jelly Bean instead of ICS. It has a 4-inch Super LCD display with WVGA resolution. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, micro USB, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS. It packs a 1650mAh battery to power up the device. It is a dual-SIM smartphone, comes with 5MP rear camera among other things.
