Huawei has officially announced Ascend P6 at London. The phone has been leaked several times before and it is the new flagship from Huawei. It you think that this phone looks like iPhone you are not alone. It comes with an aluminum metal body and looks very thin, at 6.18mm it is the thinnest phone around. The phone comes in Black, White and Pink colors.
The super slim phone is powered by a 1.5GHz quad core processor with 2GB of RAM. It comes with a 4.7inch in-cell LCD screen with HD resolution. On the camera front it has an 8 megapixel shooter at the rear and a whooping 5 megapixel camera at the front. The internal memory is on a diet at 8GB, you will get a micro D slot for memory expansion though.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB, GPS etc., there is not LTE in this phone. With these specifications it is not going to challenge the likes of Samsung Galaxy S4 or Sony Xperia Z or HTC One. With this phone Huawei has also packed a latest version of the Emotion UI. The biggest selling point of the handset is the design and its thin profile.
Availability: According to Huawei it will be available in China first starting this month and will be rolled out later in European markets followed by the rest of the world.
Price: It is priced at 499 euros, but pricing in other regions is not yet clear.
