Huawei has officially launched Ascend G510 and Ascend Y300 in India. Both these devices are mid-range smartphones running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean under the hood. Ascend G510 is priced at Rs. 10,990 and Ascend Y300 is priced at Rs. 7,980 available through online retailers and offline stores.
Ascend G510 is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 512MB RAM. It comes with 4.5-inch IPS display at FWVGA resolution (854 x 480 pixels). Internal memory is pegged at 4GB, it also carries a micro SD slot for expanding memory upto 32GB. Other specifications include a 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and has a battery of 1750mAh to power up the device. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, micro USB, DLNA.
Ascend Y 300 is a budget phone with 1GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon processor with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal memory. It has a 4-inch IPS display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It comes with a 5MP autofocus rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera. Connectivity options include 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro USB, GPS. 1730mAh battery under the hood to power up the device.
