The telecom operator Idea is launching budget smartphones in India with Android inside from quite sometime. Idea came up with a new handset now called Aurus IV with Dual SIM facility and supports 3G. Idea strategically launching the smartphone in its 3G circles only.The phone is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will be available through Idea retail outlets across 3G circles.
Ideal is launching this phone in 3G markets including Gujarat, Maharashtra & Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Kerala, UP West & East, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh.
Idea Aurus 4 specs include, a 4.5-inch TFT display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz dual core processor with 512MB RAM and 4GB of ROM. It comes with a micro SD slot for memory expansion upto 32GB. On the imaging front it comes with a 5MP rear camera with Flash, it also has a 0.3MP front camera for video calls.
It packs 1800 mAH battery under the hood, according to Idea it provides upto 4 hours of talk time on 3G. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, micro USB, Bluetooth 4.0. Idea is also offering free data and other benefits with the handset.
