Microsoft has released the final version of the Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7. Internet Explorer 10 came with Windows 8 and Window 8 RT operating system. The browser is available to download in 95 languages from IE site.
Windows 7 users can download the browser now, Microsoft also plans to auto-update users running older versions of the browser to IE10 in the coming weeks starting with the IE10 release preview users. This IE10 for Windows 7 brings the same standards support, security and privacy that users of Windows 8 are enjoying according to Microsoft.
IE10 for Windows 7 final has performance improvements, in terms of page loading, interactivity and faster JavaScript performance. Microsoft claims that IE10 loads real world pages upto 20% faster. IE10 also improves hardware accelerated performance of SVG and HTML4 constructs, on Chalkboard test drive IE10 improves over IE9 by 15%.
In addition to raw performance improvements of real world sites, IE10 includes improvements to make common browsing activities you do every day faster. IE10’s integrated spell checking and auto-correct for common spelling mistakes, makes typing text for blog posts, social updates, and tweets faster and less error prone. Similarly, we tuned the tabs bar so closing many tabs is faster and more efficient, without having to moving your mouse as each tab closes.
IE10 also includes increased support for modern web standards, it adds support for 30 new modern web standards beyond IE9.
Like in Windows 8 the Do Not Track setting is turned on by default in Windows 7 also. Users can switch off if they want by going to the settings of the browser.
