Android is the leading operating system in terms of growth and changes. Google has been adding several features with the latest updates to the Android OS. If you look at Android 4.2 and Android 2.1, you’ll see that everything has changed and the latest version is more stable and has improved features. However, not all Android users can update their devices to the latest version as most manufacturers don’t allow them to. Probably, the most android devices present in the world are running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and only a few have been update to Jelly Bean. Luckily, developers at XDA are working to get the latest features of Jelly Bean on ICS. A new JB transformation MOD is now available for Android 4.0 devices, with which you can get the latest features of Jelly Bean on ICS.
The MOD brings all the latest Android features and Google Now is one of these. Google Now is an excellent voice recognition app similar to iPhone’s Siri. Apart from that, the Camera and Gallery apps are also included. The camera adds some new features such as photo sphere and panorama shots. The Gallery doesn’t add many features but brings a totally new user interface.
Google ears is also included in the package, which lets you identify tracks from your Android device. The Jelly Bean keyboard also comes in the package with a new user interface and gesture typing similar to swipe.
Aside from these major features, the MOD also brings the new Gmail app with additional features, a new wallpaper changer from Nexus 4, ringtones, fonts and a Nexus 4 boot animation. The MOD is working on most devices running Android 4.0 ICS and you can download the zip file using this link. You must be rooted and can install the zip file using CWM Recovery. Make sure that you create a Nandroid backup first before flashing the zip file.
