Lenovo has announced a host of devices at CES 2014 and the list includes surprisingly two Android running all-in-one PCs. These are Lenovo N308 and ThinkVision 28. The Lenovo N308 is a departure from Windows all-in-one desktops we have seen, it runs on Android and this might be an indication that we will see these kind of deices in future.
N308 runs on Tegra 3 quad-core processor and comes with 2GB of memory and 500GB internal storage. It runs on Android 4.2 operating system with Google Play support that means you have access to all Android apps. The display measures 19.5-inch and comes with a 1600 x 900pixels resolution. There is a 720p webcam on the front for chatting.
It weighs around 10.2 pounds and is 1.3inches in thickness, according to Lenovo it can run on the included battery for 3 hours for mobility. It comes with a stand that can used to adjust the viewing angle including completely flat. The N308 will be available in February starting at $450.
The ThinkVision 28 is a 28-inch ultra-high resolution 4K display (3840 x 2160), it can be used as a display for your other devices. But that is not all it comes with Android 4.3 and runs on Nvidia Tegra SoC. It uses NFC and Tap to connect feature to connect with secondary devices. The ThinkVision 28 smart display as Lenovo calls it will be available from April onwards with a starting price of $1199.
