Lenovo has launched three Android tablets in India today, one of them A1000 is already listed on its from few weeks now. The other tablets launched today include A3000 and S6000, these are not available for buying but they will soon make an appearance on the official Lenovo store.
A1000 is the cheapest of the lot launched today. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT8317 processor with 1GB of RAM. It comes with a SIM slot for 2G data and voice calling, 3G support is available through USB dongle. It comes with 4GB of internal storage with a micro SD card slot for memory expansion upto 32GB. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box. It features a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 1024 x 600 pixels. There is a 3500mAh battery under the hood to power up the device. It also incorporates a 0.3MP front camera for video chats. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 2G, Bluetooth, USB. It features dual stereo speakers that are spaced for better stereo effects and for Dolby audio enhancements.
A3000 is a mid range Android tablet, this is also a 7-inch tablet with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution screen. It is powered by a MediaTek 1.2Ghz Quad Core Processor with 1GB of RAM and 4G of internal storage with a micro SD slot for memory expansion upto 64GB. It comes with a 5MP rear camera and a front camera for video calling. It runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. There is a 3500mAh battery under the hood and it provides 7 hours of Wi-Fi browsing.
S6000 is a high-end tablet with better specifications than the above two. It has a 10.1-inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2Ghz Quad Core Processor, and runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box. The tablet sports a thin profile at 8.6mm thickness. It also comes with a 5MP rear camera and a front camera. It has a 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a micro SD card.
Pricing & Availability: A6000 is currently available from Lenovo official store and is priced at Rs. 8,990. A3000 is priced at Rs. 16,000 and S6000 is priced at Rs. 27000 and both of these tablets will be available soon in the country.
