Lenovo unveiled two Yoga tablets, one with 8-inch and another with 10-inch screen. These tablets comes with a “unique” design according to Lenovo for easy grip and a kickstand. Lenovo claims the latest Yoga tablets offer upto 18hours of battery life, which is is really great if the claim is true.
These latest Lenovo tablets has a cylindrical base which gives better grip to the tablet while holding. On the back it has a kickstand which is helpful to place the tablet standstill on a table. While folded the Cylindrical base will raise the tablet one side that is perfect for typing. Lenovo is calling the design multimode which helps in better usability experience.
The Yoga Tablets will give 18 hours of battery life, they can be used to charge other devices using a micro USB card which is not included. The 10-inch and 8-inch models only differ in the screen sizes and weight. They will be available as Wi-Fi only models or 3G models. The Wi-Fi only models run on MT8125 chips and 3G models run on MT8389 quad core processors. These tablets have front speakers with Dolby audio technology.

An optional Bluetooth keyboard is available for 10-inch tablet, it can be bought for $69. The 8-inch tablet will be available in Best Buy stores in US starting October 30th. The 10-inch tablet will be widely available including BestBuy, Amazon and Lenovo stores. The 8-inch tablet is priced at $249 and the 10-inch tablet is priced at $299. Availability and pricing for the other regions is not yet known.
