Lenovo has announced a new phablet called Vibe Z in China expanding its line of Vibe devices. Lenovo launched Vibe X smartphone in September this year, it will join the Vibe X. While the Vibe X is powered by a MediaTek processor this Vibe Z is powered by a Snapdragon 800 Processor.
The Vibe Z features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display and is powered by a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 Processor along with Adreno 330GPU and 2GB of RAM. It is a dual SIM smartphone with support for GSM+WCDMA, GSM+CDMA, GSM+LTE depending on the market. It comes with a 13-megapixel camera at the rear with dual LED flash and a front-facing 5-megapixel camera. The Sony IMX-135 powered rear camera is capable of shooting 10 stills per half a second according to Lenovo, plus it also comes with a proprietary low-light algorithm for better pictures in low light. It runs on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
Lenovo Vibe Z comes with a flip cover that looks familiar because it is the same kind of flip cover we have seen with Samsung Galaxy S4 and later LG also introduces this cover with G2. The Flip cover comes in a range of vibrant colors
Other specifications like battery power is not yet known but according to Lenovo it gives 278.5 hours of standby time. The international availability and pricing for Vibe is not yet clear, but it will go for pre-orders in China soon.
