LG G Pad 8.3 will go on sale in its homeland, Korea from next week onwards. LG first unveiled the tablet at IFA 2013. The tablet roll out starts with South Korea and will expand to other markets. LG said that the tablet will come to 3.0 countries before the end of the year including Europe, US and Asia.
LG G Pad 8.3 is a slim and sleek tablet with larger display. It features a 8.3-inch WUXGA display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.7GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB of RAM. It will compete with popular iPad mini and Samsung’s wide range of Android tablets.
LG G Pad comes with LG specific apps like QPair, QMemo etc., QPair allows users connect their smartphone with tablets. LG priced this tablet at 550000 Won (~$510) and will be available in South Korea through retailers.
