LG has launched another Android handset in its home market South Korea. The LG Gx launched today comes with a 5.5-inch display with Snapdragon 600 processor under the hood. The specifications remind you of the LG Optimus G Pro, it looks like a refreshed version of the device.
LG Gx features a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Processor along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of in-built memory. It is running on an unspecified build of Android Jelly Bean operating system.
It has a 13megapixel rear camera with Autofocus, LED flash and a 2.1MP front camera. Connectivity options include LTE, HSPA, EV-DO, VoLTE (U+), 2.6GHz broadband LTE support, micro USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. The KG Gx has dimensions of 150.6 x 76.1 x 9.2 mm and weighs 167gms. It packs a 3140 mAh battery under the hood for providing juice.
LG has also included the “Knock on” feature from LG G2, a double tap will wake the phone up. LG Gx will come with the latest UX from LG along with a Smart Day feature that shows notifications, days schedule, time, weather and other updates on the lock screen.
The international availability of the LG Gx is not unknown at this time, we can expect the phone as Gx or with a new name internationally sometime next year.
