LG is all set to launch Nexus 5 in India next week according to several retailers. Nexus 5 is the much awaited phone in India after its global debut, Google has listed in the Indian Play store with coming soon status but so far has not confirmed the launch. According to reports LG is launching the Nexus 5 in India like it launched the Nexus 4 in India.
Google has listed the 16GB version with a price tag of Rs. 28,990, LG will launch the handset with a price tag of Rs. 29,990. That may be MRP and the actual selling price might be different or close to the Google Play listing price. The Play store listing might also become live for the launch date for giving users an option to buy it online. Several retailers are reporting that they are receiving stocks of Nexus 5 devices from LG pointing to an imminent launch this week, though the nexus 5 India release date is not officially confirmed.
Snapdeal has already started accepting pre-orders for Nexus 5, users can pay Rs. 999 and book the device, the remaining amount can be paid at the time of launch.
LG Nexus 5 launched last month globally, it features a 4.95 inch full HD display and is powered by 2.3GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor. It packs a 2GB RAM, 8MP rear camera among other specifications. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system the latest and greatest from Google.
