Live Documents is inviting users to preview thier online office suite, i got my invitation today and i am currently testing live documents.
It has same look and feel like Office 2007, you feel like you are working on office 2007 in a browser.
It works well but slow compared to others, you can create Word files, Spreadsheets and Presentations from the dashboard. You can also upload files to work with them or sync with Office 2007.
You need to install a client software on your computer if you want to sync MS Office files with Live Documents. After installing open any document you want to share with others and click on Add Ins in say Word 2007. Here you will see Share this document link, click on that it will be sent to your live documents account.
The biggest advantage for this over others in this space is the integration with MS Office, obviously that is what we (atleast me at this time) wants. Onlile apps are good but its even better if it is integrated with desktop apps.

Cool. I was running Office 2003 for the longest time and recently made the switch to 2007. It just so much better. My favourite part so far has probably been the aggressive Junk E-Mail filter in Outlook.
If Live Docs is like 2007, it’s probably a little bit of alright. (#):)
