Playlist.io is a new service from the super easy file sharing service Drop.io. It allows users to upload their music to the cloud and make playlists and listen whenever they want. There are several web services that allow sharing playlists online with friends, Playlist.io is designed for individual use.
Users will get 10OMB of space to upload their music files, no registration is required to use the service. Give a name to your drop, then upload the files. Advanced settings allows you to give a password to your drop so guests can access the playlist if you wish to share with them. The files are stored for 1 year from the last access, so if you didn’t view your files for 1 year they will be deleted automatically. Guests can simply access the files or add new ones, delete the existing ones based on the settings you give to the drop.
You can add files to the created drop later, the full page view of the file plays the music in a flash player. This is the simplest form of taking your favorite songs with you wherever you go. Since the music you are uploading is for personal use you shouldn’t have problems with RIAA. Playlist.io has a Firefox addon for easier uploading of files to the drop.io
