Micromax has launched another handset in its budget line of handset series Bolt, with the name Bolt A61. It appeared on Micromax home page few days back and is now officially available from Micromax store. Micromax has earlier released several handsets in the Bolt series, all these phones targeted at the first time smartphone buyer.
Bolt A61 announced now comes with a 4-inch TFT screen with WVGA resolution at 480 x 800 pixels. It is powered by a 1GHz Spreadtrum SC7710 Processor along with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM. Memory wise it is very low, but being a budget handset below 5K you can’t expect more than that, good news is that it comes with a micro SD card support for upto 16GB of memory expansion.
It comes with pre-installed apps like kingsoft office, hike, spuul, Opera and Mi Live app from Micromax. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, 3G, micro USB, there is now GPS support in this phone. On the imaging front it comes with a rudimentary 2MP camera at the rear with fixed focus and flash, there is a VGA front camera in addition.
Micromax Bolt A61 is a dual SIM handset that runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It packs a 1500mAh battery under the hood for providing juice.
