Micromax and telecom operator MTS launched a new Android handset called Canvas Blaze. The Canvas Blaze appeared a few days back online and is now officially launched in India with a price tag of Rs 10,999. This is a dual SIM Android handset that supports GSM + CDMA.
Cnavas Blaze features a 5-inch capacitive touch screen with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with integrated EVDO (3G) and GSM modem. It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Other specifications include an 8-megapixel camera at the rear with auto focus, LED flash and a0.3MP front facing camera. It packs a 768MB of RAM with 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 32GB using a micro SD card. It comes with a 1850mAh removable battery under the hood.

Micromax and MTS partnered to launch this device and according to reports we will see more handsets will be released out of this partnership. MTS is offering a bundle offer of 2GB free data and voice benefits of upto 1000 minutes from MTS to MTS customers and 120 minutes for other local and STD calls for six months from the date of purchase.
