Micromax Canvas LapTab runs Windows 8.1 and Android dual-boot unveiled at CES

Micromax appeared on CES 2014 with an interesting device called LapTab. The interesting feature of the device apart from the bizarre name is it runs both Windows 8.1 and Android as a dual-boot option. Micromax is supposed to release this tablet next month in India, we don’t know the pricing and exact release date of Micromax LapTab as of now.

The LapTab runs on Windows 8.1 and Android Jelly Bean, but it is not clear the specific version of Jelly Bean. It comes with a 10.1-inch display 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.46GHz processor, rumor is that this processor is Intel made but we are not sure. If it is an ARM processor then we would have seen Windows 8 RT, anyway we will know other details soon.

Other specifications of the device include a 2MP front camera, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of in-built storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 7400mAh battery. It comes with a transleeve cover and a wireless keyboard. The pricing and availability is not yet clear, but is expected to go on sale next month that is in February in India.
