Motorola launched the Moto G in India today starting with a price tag of Rs 12,499 for 8GB model. The 16GB model would cost Rs 13999. As we already know that this phone will be exclusive to Flipkart in the near future, we are not sure how long though, but it also appeared in Snapdeal. This is the come back for Motorola in India after it shit its operations.
Moto G is the most expected phone in India, and it is a bit delayed launch considering the phone is for developing markets. It is a quite capabale phone with decent specifications and the pricing is perfect for the phone if you look at the specs.
As Flipkart is exclusive partner for the Moto G launch it is giving some offers to be availed on the laucnh date. The offers list includes Rs 500 off on e-books, Rs 1000 off on clothing, 70% off on colorful covers for the Moto G and 100% cashback for lucky customer(s). The offers are useful for only Flipkart customers, unless you are a flipkart customer you don’t have anything here.
Moto G comes in single SIM and dual-SIM variants and Motorola is launching the dual SIM version here. Moto G originally launched in last November in Sao Paulo, Brazil features a 4.5-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720p) resolution, it also gets Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad-core processor with Adreno 305GPU. It is running on Android 4.3 with guarantee upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat.
For the photography ninjas there is a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3MP front facing camera for selfies and video calls. It packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB or 16GB of internal storage. There is a 2070mAh battery under the hood for providing juice.
The phone is available from Flipkart now. The 8GB version is priced at Rs 12499 and the 16GB version is priced at Rs 13999.
