Nexus 5 is expected to launch by the end of this month, the recent leaks of the phone also hint at nearing of the launch date. We don’t have a word on the official launch yet but a listing for Nexus 5 appeared as an option in the Google play store. The listing looks like appeared while updating the store, but was promptly pulled back.
The listing reveals that 16GB model of Nexus 5 will cost $349 appeared along with the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets according to Engadget. Nexus 5 is expected to come with a 4.95-inch display with 1080p resolution. It will carry Snapdragon 800 processor with LTE support. The internal storage is pegged at either 16GB or 32GB. It will come with the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system when launched.
Yesterday press shots of the Nexus 5 leaked online, Mobilesyrup posted the these images, these are taken from the promotional material of the Canadian telecom carrier Telus.
What these leaked press shots reveal is already known and we have seen these icons already. We have already seen a 7-minute video walkthrough of the device. These images appear to came from Telus version of the Nexus 5, if these images have to be believed we have a new camera app and may be other minor things.
