Google Nexus 7 (2013) tablet is now available in India starting today through Google Play Store in India. The Nexus 7 tablet launched in July this year as a successor to the last year’s Nexus 7. It went on sale later in US, UK and other countries. Starting today it is available in India, it is priced at Rs. 20,999 for 16 GB Wi-Fi only version and Rs. 23,999 for 32GB Wi-Fi only version. The 32GB 3G / LTE version is priced at Rs. 27,999.
Google Nexus 7 is made by Asus and it features a 7-inch IPS screen at 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution which is better than the last year’s 1280 x 800 display. It is powered by 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Processor couple with Adreno 320GPU. It packs 2GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage.
The Nexus 7 also gets two cameras, a 5MP snapper at the rear and a 1.2MP front facing camera. It packs a 3950mAh battery under the hood for providing juice, it also has in-built wireless charging. The tablet when launched came with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system, last week Google pushed the Android 4.4 KitKat update for this tablet along with other Nexus devices. Google also launched Nexus 5 smartphone in India, it is also available from Google Play Store.
