Nokia has launched its Lumia 900 Windows Phone without much fanfare. Everyone expected that Nokia will launch Lumia 900 much earlier when it Dark Knight Rises special edition invites. But Nokia only launched Lumia 800 at that time.
Nokia Lumia 900 runs on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS and is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor. It comes with AMOLED ClearBlack LCD with 800×480 resolution with a screen size of 4.3 inches. Other specifications include 16GB internal memory, 8 megapixel rear camera, 1 megapixel front camera, 512MB RAM. The connectivity options include Bluetooth Wi-Fi, USB etc.
One thing to remember while buying these Windows phones now is that they won’t get updated to the latest software that is Windows Phone 8. Windows Phone 8 launch is not too far from now, and according to reports it has hit the RTM stage, that means soon we will have devices running on WP8. In fact the Lumia 920 that is announced recently will have Windows Phone 8 under the hood.
