Nokia working on a 5.2-inch Lumia device ?

Looks like Nokia has a range of devices set for released in the coming months despite the sale to Microsoft. There were rumors about a 8-inch device and there is an Android handset called Nokia Normandy and now another 5.2-inch Nokia device spotted. A new Nokia device with 5.2-inch screen under testing has been spotted on Zuaba, the shipment tracker website.

Not much is known about the device, but the shipment details with code RM-964 suggest that it has 5.2 inch screen, that is new for Nokia and it currently in testing and evaluation. Its estimated price is Rs 34524 ($560), it is a single SIM device. It’s price range indicates that it is a high end device with large screen probably a 1080p one.

Rumor has it that Nokia may be releasing this with similar specs to the current flagship phablet Lumia 1520, in a smaller package. The Lumia 1520 is a 6-inch device and is quite uncomfortable to work on and to pocket. If the rumors are true then we might see this device at the next year’s MWC. Windows Phone 8.1 is slated for early next year and Nokia might have some devices lined up for the launch event.
