Usually all Android devices have a similar status bar on the top of the screen. It is one of the most liked features, however, it is not customizable. Icons, time and battery are usually displayed on the status bar and you can download additional apps for displaying onto the status bar. There are replacements available but none of these have been stable and users have reported a sluggish performance along with regular Force Closes.
Omega StatusBar is a new replacement for the default Android status bar and it is highly customizable. It is probably the most stable status bar and you won’t find any problems while using it regularly on your device.
Omega StatusBar is extremely customizable and provides a new experience on Android. The app supports user-built themes and you can download and apply various themes depending on how you want the status bar to look like. Apart from the basic theme customization, Omega StatusBar also has several settings and preferences for fully customizing the status bar.
The status bar is packed with several features and it comes with a battery and a temperature censor. The status bar is set to auto start when the device is booted and if you kill the app, it will reboot on the next boot. Omega StatusBar also features a smooth drop down menu, which is also quite customizable as you can control what shows in the drop menu. There is also an exclusion list for the notifications menu and you can add more apps to the list.
Omega Statusbar also shows notification counts for notifications which are repeating. Apart from that, the statusbar features animated battery charging along with an animated background for the statusbar. The app comes with a theme manager where you can download all 3rd party themes created by users. Also, the app only uses 20mb of RAM so you don’t need to worry about high RAM usage.
You can get the app here and it should work on all devices with Android 2.1 above firmwares.
