Oppo announced its flagship Oppo N1 this September, we know its specs and other details but what is missing is the International launch dates and pricing. Oppo also said at that time the Oppo N1 device comes with CyanogenMod pre-installed but didn’t give many details.
Oppo has now announced that Oppo N1 will launch internationally this December, it will come in as a standard version with Oppo’s Color skin for Android and another version with CyanogenMod pre-installed. The CyanogenMod version is limited edition, but it is not clear how limited it is.
The limited edition will run CyanogenMod out of the box and will come with some goodies too. It will come with CyanogenMod stickers, packaging, and a special case featuring Oppo and CyanogenMod mascots.
The standard version will also has the option to run CyanogenMod ROM instead of the ColorOS, users can simply flip the ROM with out rooting and flashing the Android ROM. CyanogenMod is the most popular Android ROM in the market and recently CyanogenMod formed a company. It is expected to announce new partnerships later. But for the time being Oppo N1 is the only device that comes pre-installed with CM.
Both the standard and limited version of Oppo N1 will launch in December and will be available at the same price, so don’t worry about the limited edition tag.
